Welcome! HCCA is a non-denominational Christian University-Model School (UMS) that incorporates the best aspects of traditional schools (public and private) with home schooling - i.e. shared schooling. Through this model, elementary students are well-prepared for higher education while developing spiritually in their Christian faith. HCCA is "organized around two guiding purposes: 1) to preserve and strengthen the God-ordained family relationship and 2) to offer students the opportunity to achieve a high degree of academic excellence." We believe the benefit of HCCA is having two dedicated teachers working together. It is truly a blessing to cooperate in providing a quality education where the child's best interest is always top priority. With the UMS design, we are able to provide the "gift of time" to families. Working together it is our hope to glorify the Lord, encourage the parents, edify the student, and influence the world for Christ. We offer Kindergarten-5th grades. Quality classroom instruction is given two days a week. On the alternate days, students are taught at home by the home teacher, usually one of the parents. HCCA teachers provide parents with complete instructions for home days. While providing a quality education, we also want our students to develop a passion for serving the Lord and to have strong character qualities. We provide optional enrichment classes (Friday Morning Club), field trips, and social service activities throughout the year.
